New BOE President and Vice President Elected

Patrick Woods will serve as president of the Topeka Public Schools Board of Education for the 2015-16 school year.  Michael Morrison will serve as vice president.  The two were selected at tonight’s school board meeting, the first meeting of the new fiscal year.

Woods has previously served as president of the board.  He has been a board member since 2007.  Michael Morrison has been a board member since 2013.

Woods and Morrison replace Janel Johnson and Peg McCarthy who served as president and vice president during the 2014-15 school year.
