High School Government Teachers Recognized


 Five high school government teachers were honored recently by the League of Women Voters of Topeka/Shawnee County.  Phillip Wrigley of Topeka High, James Dewell of Topeka High, Tom Rogers of Highland Park, Anthony Hensley of Highland Park and Connie Jacobsen of Topeka West were recognized for their efforts to inform and encourage students to be active participants in their government by exercising their right to vote.  Each teacher received a certificate from the League of Women Voters at a recent school board meeting.
