The TPS Board of Education tonight approved the 2014-2015
budget. The budget totals more than
$255.2 million, an increase from the year before. The board of education’s approval of the
budget will mean a mill levy drop of 3.8 mills compared to last year. For someone owning a $100,000 home, it will be a tax decrease of $44.00. No one
came forward to speak during a public hearing on the budget tonight.
We are the largest district in Shawnee County & believe that our students will change the world.
