Capitol Federal Savings and Highland Park Central Elementary
School have been partners since 1996.
For 17 years, employees of Capitol Federal have read to students, been
tutors and helped with various school events.
On September 27, Capitol Federal renewed its partnership
with Highland Park Central for another year as CEO John B. Dicus and Principal
Cleo Gardner signed a partnership agreement while students and staff looked on. “Capitol Federal is committed to higher
education. Helping our Highland Park
Central students build a solid foundation toward that goal is vital to their
future and the future of our Topeka community,” said Dicus. “We are happy to be a part of the success of
our students.” Principal Gardner thanked
Dicus and his employees. “Capital
Federal’s commitment to our students and their educational progress is
incredible valuable. They are wonderful
role models for our students. We truly
appreciate all Capital Federal does for our school and our community.”
