Topeka High Wins State Track Championship

The Topeka High Boys Track & Field team won the Class 6A State Team Championship this past May?  It was the first state title in any Topeka High School sport since 1997.  It was the sixth boys track title in school history, but the first since 1973.   “We were not on anyone's radar heading into the state meet,” said Topeka High Athletic Director Rod Hasenbank.  “Our boys really stepped up and had their best performances of the season to shock the state in winning the team trophy.”
