The end of the school year is always a time of
celebration. At Meadows Elementary
School, students and staff celebrated the school’s first year of PBIS or
Positive Behavior Intervention Support.
PBIS is designed to enhance academic and social behavior outcomes for
all students.
Meadows students spent May 21 outdoors eating pizza. They were then able to view some vintage cars
lined up near the school. The students
later paraded the cars they had made out of cardboard boxes around the playground. The day of celebration ended with awards
handed out to the classes which had the best behavior during the school year.
