Tracy Lee, a consulting teacher for Topeka Public Schools,
has received the Mark Miller Award from TARC.
The award recognizes an educator who supports inclusion of children with
developmental disabilities, not only in the school setting, but also in the community. The award is named to honor Mark Miller, a
parent and past TARC board member.
TARC Development Director Sherry Lundry said, “Tracy is in
attendance at nearly every IEP of those students receiving special services in
education. She is a high level
professional in her field with an expertise in special education. Tracy’s knowledge is grounded in years of
education and practice as well as genuine compassion for the students she
serves. She is a well respected advocate
for all persons with developmental and related disabilities, but especially for
the students of Topeka USD 501.”
