A Christmas tradition is the hanging of a stocking with
hopes of finding it filled with goodies.
Student council members at Whitson Elementary School helped fill 67
stockings with goodies during their “Fill the Stockings” project. The students collected toothpaste, brushes,
socks, hats and coloring books to fill the stockings which will go to foster
kids ages 4 to 16. Whitson 5th
grade teacher Rita Hinck said, “We are so proud of our Whitson Warriors. These kids will have a present and a socking
to open up on Christmas Day.”
We are the largest district in Shawnee County & believe that our students will change the world.
