Santa’s helpers were busy this past weekend in the form of Topeka High School
Junior ROTC cadets. As
part of their 11th annual Christmas food drive, the cadets were
sacking groceries at Hy-Vee and collecting food donations from shoppers. Other cadets spent the weekend at Walmart on
Wanamaker collecting items to support the U. S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots
program. The cadets will deliver the
gifts they have collected to needy families later this month.
We are the largest district in Shawnee County & believe that our students will change the world.
