Barnhart Honored With Award

Jennifer Barnhart, Director of Special Education for Topeka Public Schools, was named this year's recipient of the Outstanding Assistive Technology Professional award at the Kansas Infinitec Coalition(KIC) meeting in Wichita this week.   This award is given to one person each year to recognize long-standing, excellent service at a state level.  Jennifer was instrumental in bringing KIC to Kansas over a decade ago.  She's served on the State KIC Board as a founding member and continues to serve to this day.  KIC helps educators to stay abreast of rapid developments in the field of assistive technology.  Jennifer's work with KIC helps students across the State as well as in Topeka.
