Former Topeka West High School student Anna Wenner has been
selected as a Global Scholar by the University of Kansas. Wenner, who is a sophomore majoring in
English and history, is among fifteen sophomores at KU named as Global
Scholars. The students were selected for
their demonstrated interest in global and international studies, plans for
studying aboard and potential for high academic achievement and leadership. Wenner received a $1,000 scholarship to be
applied toward a KU approved study aboard program.
We are the largest district in Shawnee County & believe that our students will change the world.
