Board of Education members held their November 15th
meeting at Ross Elementary School.
Before the meeting began, a ribbon cutting and a plaque was unveiled
celebrating the $7 million addition to Ross Elementary that includes multiple
classrooms, a new gymnasium, offices and entrance. The addition makes Ross the largest
elementary school (square footage) in the district. With the additional space, the school offers
additional music programs designating it as a music signature school. The addition also links the school to nearby
Eisenhower Middle School.
We are the largest district in Shawnee County & believe that our students will change the world.
