A Williams Magnet School 5th grade student had
his drawing of God on display for three months at the Martin Luther King Junior
Library in Washington D.C. Xavier
Benham’s drawing represented the state of Kansas at the library. Recently he learned that his drawing and the
others on display at the library were purchased by CVS, the national pharmacy
chain, and will be on permanent display at the company’s headquarters in Rhode
Island. Xavier and his classmates also had
their art work on display at the Brown v Board National Historic Site. The art work was part of the Ray of Hope art
project.
We are the largest district in Shawnee County & believe that our students will change the world.
