Construction Career Expo

One of the goals of Topeka Public Schools is to make sure that all students are college and career ready when they graduate.  One example of that took place earlier this week as hundreds of middle school and high school students attended the 2012 Construction Career Expo at the Kansas ExpoCentre.  Students were able to take part in activities and observe various careers in transportation.   Students had the opportunity to ask questions of engineers, environmental scientists, geologists and surveyors.   The expo was sponsored by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
