ShareFest Gives Schools New Look

More than 1,200 volunteers painted playground equipment, trimmed bushes and spread mulch during the annual ShareFest event on October 15. Many of the volunteers came from local churches. They were joined by students and staff of Topeka Public Schools.

The volunteers spent the morning working at Avondale West, McCarter, Meadows, Stout and Whitson Elementary Schools as well as at Landon and Robinson Middle Schools and Capital City and Topeka High Schools.

Topeka Public Schools wants to thank the ShareFest volunteers for making a difference in our school district.
