Prairie Band Supports TPS Indian Education Program
The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation continues its support of Topeka Public Schools. Recently, the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation made a donation of $1,500 to the Indian Education Program in the school district. The donation was accepted by Karen Shanks at the Charitable Contribution Awards Ceremony. The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation is a federally recognized sovereign nation with almost 5,000 tribal members.
