Schools Honored For Making AYP

Chase Middle School and Shaner Elementary School received a surprise visit from Interim Superintendent Dr. Julie Ford today. She, along with other school administrators, visited the two schools to congratulate staff for helping the schools make Adequate Yearly Progress or AYP. Both Chase and Shaner have now made AYP two years in a row, removing them from the “on improvement” list.

Dr. Ford brought a congratulations banner, balloons and cookies for the principal and staff at both schools.
