Fourth Graders Get Dictionaries

Ask a 4th grade student at Quinton Heights Elementary School how to spell a word and they can look it up in their new dictionary. Fourth grade students at Quinton Heights, Quincy, Highland Park Central, Avondale East, Lowman Hill and Linn Elementary schools each received a dictionary recently thanks to a partnership between the Downtown Rotary Club of Topeka and the Dictionary Project of Kansas City. Each year, the two organizations team up to deliver dictionaries to students who need them most. The Dictionary Project of Kansas City helps children throughout Kansas discover the meaning of success, respect and teamwork. The Downtown Rotary Club of Topeka is the second oldest Rotary Club in Kansas.
