The cadets took several classes while on the base including the mathematics of space flight and fixed wing aerodynamics.  They also attended the Spirit of America, a performance by the Old Guard of the Army which escorts the President.  During a tour of the Air Force Museum, the students  were able to see the Memphis Belle; the fastest plane of earth, the SR-71 and Air Force One which carried President Kennedy home after he was assassinated in Dallas.
